I finally got my hands on a Tk-2180 so that i could compare the audio to my Nx-5200. Maybe it's just me but the Tk-2180 seems significantly louder. Has anyone compared the Nx audio to any other model radio? If so what were your findings? When comparing the specs the audio should be exactly the same, starting to think this Nx-5200 has a speaker issue.

Are you talking about RX volume? Check your Maximum volume setting and RX AGC (i recommend to turn it off, because it works improperly). NX5K portables are loud enought, but I can't bet that they will will beat HT75-1250-1550, because they are really very loud.
