Default FS: Kenwood TK-890 450-490 UHF Radio

A Kenwood TK890 UHF Type 1 RF deck, KCH-11 full control head with 14 character alphanumeric LCD and KMC-27 Microphone are being offered. This is a 160 channel unit with a band split of 450-490 MHz. Channel spacing is 25Khz (W), 12.5KHz (N). Deck was pulled from an EMS helo entity for a UHF Type 2 upgrade. As per standard procedure the Type 1 deck was reconditioned by Kenwood. Kenwood certification is provided. The KCH-11(complete) and the KMC-27 (complete) are both from new in-stock inventory. I can sell this set for $695.00 which includes shipping (U. S. only) and insurance. RF deck only $375.00. Please send me a PM should you have ANY questions or if interested. I am posting this on the site RR exclusively until May 15th. Echo, unfortunately I think Code3 is right. Conventional radios just dont hold any type of value, for anybody, private user or public safety agency alike. Espically UHF, which seems to be worth less than VHF. A few years ago I laid out $375 for a TK890H, complete with remote mount, KCH-11 and DTMF mic. Ebay obviously will be your biggest competitor, I think you will be very fortunate to get $375-$400 for what your advertising. I would be very surprised if you got anywhere near what your asking. I'd watch this listing: ebay item number: 270388225086, it will give you an idea of the market value of a 890. Consider this, I had a M/A Com 800 mhz EDACS, remote mount setup that I was listing for $650, it took me well over 30 days to sell and sold for $550. Like many, people are buying groceries and gas instead of radios righ now. So if you're looking to sell in a hurry, I would re-evaluate your price.

Another good auction to watch is 150344156534 . Dual 90 series RF decks and the radio side of the remote kits for 300.

Snoopy I wish I could find 90H series with DTMF mics for that!
