Default tk-280 squelch level question

Can any one tell me best squelch level would be for tk-280?

Tough question to give a definitive answer to. The "noise" environment will constantly change. Best way to set it is to start with the default setting, if you experience constant unsquelch, then set it a little tighter and try. Then set tighter and try, and so on....
