Tk-730 g

Are all tk-730G radios wide/narrow capable?
I just got one used and I read the radio, and it didnt have the w/n option
But it came from a guy who had a fleet of 100+ that were not the g version and a few that were, so I wonder if he just wrote the program from the non g radios to it.
I programmed it with the w/n option and it sounds just fine on the channels that are narrowband.

Does the FCC ID sticker say TK 730 or TK 730G. Most likely he made one codeplug and cloned all of them. so you can tell it is a G model in the software. You will know if it took or not when you key it up and you sound like crap on the existing radios or the monitor scope shows it TX'ng wide band.

You also need the latest version of software to access the W/N option.
