Default need help programming a tk2160 for 5-tone decoding

I use the software kpg 82d

It doesn't seem difficult ,but i can't get the radio to decode the 5-tones .(i can hear the tones coming out of the radio but the radio doesn't react.
Encoding works fine.

The standard is zvei and the codes are 12639 , 12630,12601

thanks in advance

Kenwood does not support 5tone here in the US, so your 82D is a slightly different flavor. Mine only supports 2tone, dtmf and fleetstync.

Sounds like you have codes set up. Go to channel edit and select 5tone for opt signalling.
Go to EDIT>OPTIONAL FEATURES 1 and select either "AND" or "OR" for SIGNALLING.
If you select "AND", go back to EDIT>5TONE>DECODE and set "AUTO RESET TIMER" to your preference.
Also, EDIT>5TONE>DECODE will have "CALL ALERT". You can use that change the beeps when the radio decodes.
