Question Programming Cables with AM suffix?

Kenwood Gurus,

I see there is a KPG-43 and a KPG-43AM programming cable for the TK-790s.

What's the difference in these two cables?

Same for the:
KPG-22
KPG-36
KPG-46

Ameradio Equipment - Programming and testing - Kenwood

Thanks,
BL
