Default kenwood tk-705d

does anybody know how to program the kenwood tk-705d.it was my father inlaws and i dont have the instrustions and cant ask him because he is past away

The Kenwood -05's are programmable thorugh software or through the front panel. The following Yahoo Group has a wealth of informaton on these radios including the process for programming them without software or a computer.

i used your link but it tell me nothing about programming.how do i program the kenwood tk-705d through the front panel. all i have is the radio and mic and power cord

Here is what you need to do - all the information you need is there.

1) Join the Yahoo group (all you need is a Yahoo e-mail address)
2) Once you have access to the group, go to the Files section and there is a folder called "Front Panel Programming"
3) Everything you need in terms of directions is there - I have successfully used these directions several times on my 805D
