Default NX-200 - programming problem

Hello
I have this radio ( firmware E 2.84) and I do not know where is the option that allows channel selection after turning on the radio (for example, I want to turn on the radio on 15 channels from zone 2...)
And where is the option that allows the caller ID display ?
Can a programming manual available somewhere?

Best Regards
Stefan

Do you have the KPG-111D software? The help menu is not the best, but it will answer your questions. The Caller ID display needs to be set up through the FleetSync or MDC settings. Not sure what you mean about channel selection after turning the radio on though.

Ok
Problem witch caller ID display solved.
About second question - I have 2 zones witch 70 channels each. Now if I will turn on the radio I have a select channel that is set selector ( from 1 to 16 depending on the position) I want that radio after turn on will work on channel 58. Icom has this function - priority A - move to prio A ch.
Of course I have KPG-111D (ver3.0) and now fresh flash in radio- 3.0

You cannot specify a start channel upon power-up for the NX-200 or any other Kenwood for that matter.
Your radio will always return to the last channel/zone it was at when powered down. The exception would be if the rotary knob was set for 16 channel operation where it would power up on the same zone and whatever channel the knob was set at.

The setting you state for the Icom is for scan priority, not a start up channel.

The closest way to accomplish what you are trying to do is program a button for home channel, set home for channel 58, and press this after the radio powers up.

Hello ramal121
You are right on the Kenwood, but you are wrong on the Icom...

In Icom ( soft CS-F3160) you have an option in the bookmark : memory channel-number of zone- channel 58 Atr A, and in bookmark: Common-Key &display-move to pri A channel - you have options that will run on the radio on designated channel.

Some of the Kenwoods allow you to remove the stop in the channel selector knob....then program more then 16/zone...

go in to zone settings and selecthome channel the zone number and channel number when you turn on it will be on the channel you require

or sometimes in option features go to poweron select fixed and the zone and channel

depends on software but i think this is what you need
