TK-8160/Cimarron Board

Hello,

I have a TK-8160 with an MDC1200 Cimarron board that I need to change the ID on. The official QuikSync cable to program the board is next to impossible to find, but it looks like it's just a USB-TTL cable with three leads on it. Anyone ever try programming one with a handmade cable, or can offer any insight as to if it would work or not?

Looking at my cim cable it doesn't appear that it would be to complicated to make.

The Cim cable is not hard to find. Just go to the cim web site and they have every thing you need and are easy to work with.

They have software, cables, instructions. Cimarron Technologies for ANI Encoders and Decoders
