Default Kenwood tk-272g 2-tone options

Hello,

Sorry if this topic was already covered but I could not find it anywhere. I just bought a tk-272g and have full programming apabilities for it. I have programmed in the full 32 channel capacity and want to use the 2-tone signalling option. When I went to enter the tones, I noticed that it won't allow more than the A, B, and C tones to be entered. I have different tones to be used on different channels and am wondering if this is possible or if there is a way around to get this to happen.

Thanks in advance!

Dan Anderson

There is not a way to program multiple tones for different channels based on everything I have seen/tried.

Program it as a TK-270G and it will become 128 Channels BTW.

I did forget about that trick. Still doesn't help with the 2-tone issue that you are having but it gives you more channels anyway.

Go to 2 tone box

Click Encode

Enter your tones upto 10 I think and then go to the channel you want to page on then hit the 2 tone button, scroll to the dept to page and hit the PTT
