Default TK-2180 Speaker Replacement

Hey guys,

Got a 2180 that the speaker sounds horrible on, thought the speaker was busted, replaced the speaker got the sticky round thing that attaches to the speaker and then presses down into the holder and still new speaker sounds the same just like the old speaker.

Any ideas if I'm missing a part or if something goes over the front of the speaker to give it that usual KW Sound or what?
