Controlling TK880 via keypad microphone

Hi guys

I'm trying to perform a very simple task on my TK880
Channel up/down & group up/down via a keypad microphone.
I have a program cable but i didn't found any option for that.
It just light up and play sound on click, that's all..

Is it possible at all ?

The keypad buttons on a commercial radio are only for transmitting tones.

Yes you can, albeit clumsy.

Go to "key assignment" and program a radio button as "function" (you cannot program a mic button as "function).
Now go to the function tab and you can select what each mic button will do.

To use, say channel up, you would press the function button then the mic button for channel up. To move 5 channels, you would have to repeat this 5 times. Pretty crazy, I'd rather punch the channel up on the radio. There are other things you can do with the mic though.
