Default Kenwood NX-840 manual/programming

Hello does anybody have a PDF manual for this radio? Also the up and down arrows on the radio are programmable right? I played with the radio in our friends cab and when I pressed the up and down arrow all it did is fry like it had monitor programmed in it.

Thank you

All buttons should be programmable. This is the UK site but the information should be the same: http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk...les/NX-840HK2/ Manual is at the bottom.

The manual probably won't be much help. All the buttons are programmable and can be assigned any number of different functions. Who ever programmed the radio would have set it up a specific way. To know for sure, you either need to ask the person/shop that programmed it, or get the software and read the radio yourself.

The manual will cover the basics, but it won't do much to tell you which functions were programmed into that specific radio.

If you need the US version of that manual, let me know and I can get it for you.
