Scanning USA Magazine
This magazine went every were i went i read all the Articles to keep in the up n up world of Scanning and when the last issue rolled of the press the one i'm going to show at that time i and many folks that received it in the Mail every month had No clue that the Dream of this Magazine that got it's start in July of 1997 was over.
At that time as i stated i got my scanner mag fix at the news stand for me it was Hastings books & records i made sure over the years that the store kept them coming because i if i didn't they wouldn't reorder them it was popular to me and one other guy but for others they could care less and when i would visit the store they always had two or three copies left i guess that's reason company wasn't enthused in stocking it) For 2 years i done the subscription. But the last year i went back to Hastings to buy the Magazine and that same year is when they the Blaha's decided to close shop.
For the Customers that that renewed there subscription i don't think they got it back! there Money they payed but i might be wrong but for me i thought at first i just missed the April issue then May & June went by with no Issue i thought what's going on then i seen stuff on the Web and i thought Wow what a loss..
And the issues that i still have today smell as just as they rolled off the press and them was put in the clear Magazine wrap.. i even have a few extra issues but what i wished i had the most is one that would have 2013 printed on it..
