Are you using the Web Player, or an external media player?

No, media player should work fine. I've never had any troubles with the audio cutting out while surfing the web. Did you try disconnecting from the feed and connecting again, or maybe restarting windows media player? Could also be something on the feed providers end...

He is saying that he opens up the webpage here, listens to the feed, then goes to a new webpage and loses the feed (because he's on a new page.) My guess is you open another browser window, I'm not sure if the feeds here can be played externally.

He is using windows media player, is he not? It wouldnt disconnect from the feed if he switched pages because he is not using the web player.

No problems here. Seems to be working fine and no interruptions while surfing. Could be just your computer itself.

If you go to the county page you are interested in listening to , there will be a speaker icon to the left of the feed title , click that , it will bring up a small player . You should be allright to search away with the feed still on in the background . I use the web player and never had a problem

I just swapped to WinAmp. WMP was disconnecting after a period of time. WinAmp has yet to drop the feed.

I didn't read the origional question well enough and sure didn't answer the origional question very well either. I listen to the DPD feed often, WMP will drop it where as WinAmp has not .... yet.

I was at a Fire Dept. Recently, they have Dial-up and the feed, while it took a few to load, ran fine with no issues in WMP. So I do appologize for not asking/answering/reading enough.
