Default A Question

I asked this to the maker of Scannercast but i thought i'd throw this out to my fellow feeders .

I currently run a feed with a radio that has no tags. Now here is what i want to do and you guys can suggest if you know how this could be done, key word is "if"..

While my feed is running on Scannercast it show on WinAmp my Stream Name but when their is a House fire for example i will stop scanning and let it sit on that fire channel. So the question is how could i update that info to tell the listeners that its Not Scanning and its sitting on "TAC 2 House Fire Mississauga" to be displayed to the listener without stopping the feed? Any ideas, or other software that would do this?

Hi Brian:

It would be very helpful to know what make & model scanner you are using for the feed.

Thanks

If you are using the oddcast appliance, you can hit the edit button at the top of the screen and manually enter the metadata you want sent. I don't know about the other feed generators.
