I'm having the same thing happen to me. I use winamp and trying to connect to my feed at work and I have one computer that tells me the SERVER IS FULL and then I have another machine on a completely different IP and it's just sitting there saying "connecting to host" but it never does anything.

I've not seen either of these messages at work before and not sure what's going on.

Feed is for Jackson County Mississippi

So does anybody know anything about this? It seems several people are having this problem of Oddcast not connecting to the server. When I press Connect, it says Connecting, then briefly says Connected, then changes to Disconnected. I have tried everything I can think of on my end, but it still won't connect.

Well, I got it to connect by changing the port from 80 to 8080. But it still drops offline every few seconds and then reconnects. Every ten seconds or so, the audio disappears from the meter in Oddcast (even though I still hear it through my computer speakers) and it disconnects. Then the audio meter comes back and it reconnects until the cycle repeats itself.

Another update: I tried using Scannercast and it gave an error message that said HTTP 401 Authentication Required.

I have been able to help a few feed owners but this seams to be a larger issue.

I have notified Gordon & Lindsay an asked they look into it.

Folks,

You should be able to connect up now... I've implemented a fix for your issues.

Let us know if you still continue to have the problem.
