Default How to get stream on Windows Mobile HTC Phone

I would love to listen to feeds while away from home.

I went to the rr.com mobile site but it isn't working on my phone.

Is there a program like the blackberry guys have that we can get for the mobile phone?

Thanks

Moodio.fm, add the direct link to moodio (free account required) then you can listen from your cell phone with no problems.

The direct link will look something like this -

http://audio4.radioreference.com:80/243468126

Enjoy

hi there, youll have to add your feed to moodio, but as stated above the address will look as what it does in the above thread. if you look near the bottom of your feed owners page thats the address youll have to use in moodio.

Thanks everyone. I got the account set up, but am still having trouble finding the web address for this stream.

Orange County Fire When I put that in moodio, and try and open it on my WM I get invalvid format.

Thanks very much

Use GreenSoftware and use Skyfire: Free mobile browser. The PC web on your phone. Real fast. to go to the website and select your feed. In GSplayer click menu>>Tools>>Options>>highlight Associations and click OK then click Check All and click OK. You can then goto RR.com from skyfire and just go to the feed like you would from your computer. This might also work with the other players and skyfire browser. GSplayer also streams alpha tags but isn't set up for newer high resolution versions of WM phones so it looks a little goofy but still works.

I have CorePlayer, but the problem is that on my Windows Mobile 6 device, it wants to download a 210MB MP3 file from the m.radioreference.com link, which would take forever.

Several have asked how to get those audio2.radioreference.com type links, but nobody has yet answered that question. What's the secret?

I think this was mentioned above but GSPlayer works great.
GreenSoftware

I use it on my HTC PPC 6800 aka Mogul with no issues.

Folks, we made some changes to the Mobile interface last week which might just allow you to play the streams on your device.

Try RR Mobile again and see if they work now.

Default Url help

I started an account with moodio.fm and went to add the URL that I needed to listen to my local police on my cell phone, I feel like an idiot because I can not find the URL I need. If someone would help me by finding this and letting me know.

The URL I need is for Howard County (Kokomo police) in Indiana.

http://audio4.radioreference.com:80/kokomo

or Try this link from your mobile device. You should probably be able to listen from the mobile site.
