Ok I'm running a pro-84 scanner to pick up MSHP lo band. On the soundcard software the audio plays just fine coming from the scanner. There is a small hum but I'll soon be acquiring the proper equipment to fix that. Ok so RR sent me the Oddcast software like usual but when I fire up oddcast and switch it to pull audio from the Mic in port it does not pick up the audio....I've run out of options....is there anyone an admin or something that can help me out??

thanks

Ok if oddcast is not working we always recommend scannercast. You should not have any problems out of scannercast.

Thanks for directing me to scannercast I'll use that from now on it sounds like I'll have to get a USB soundcard though the line in is bleeding over into the MIC port.
