I use a Mac Mini & Nicecast for my fire stream.

What do you need to know?

Thanks Richard,

I know this is supposed to be really easy, and I am sure it is, but I don't really understand what I am supposed to configure in nicecast to have it stream out to the radio reference site.

Can you give me a general overview?

Thanks

Bill

Gordon from RR would have provided you the info you need.
What did he send you when you applied for a stream?

I would also like the instructions. When I applied for the feed on ScanAmerica.us I told them I had an iMac but they still sent me the DOS software. After reading your helpful post I bought NiceCast and have everything ready to go. I just need the server info and directions on where to put the info. Any help is much apperciated!

For Mac & Nicecast settings, please go to the Live Audio Wiki I created today.
I just added a Mac & Nicecast setting section.
This should cover the basics.

This is based on my settings as supplied from Gordon when I set up my Mac & Nicecast.
Some info is from Gordon & some is from me.

Windows is what most streamers use so the supplied set up instructions & software are set out as standard.

So for those who use Mac & Instreamer, I created these WiKi articles as I use both.

Some of the setting's info set to you for the a PC stream will be used in Nicecast.

You can find the needed RR settings by looking at the feed owner page for the feed in question.
Then copy & past the Server, Port, Mount, & Password info in Nicecast as needed.
