Config. Question (USB & Sound Card combined)

OK

So is there anything special which needs to be done to run a Dual feed when using both a Sound card and a USB sound card?

So basically I'm toying with adding an analog feed which would use a USB sound card. My current feed would then fully go digital and stream as it does now via an internal sound card. The current feed also uses Scanner cast with Text tags, the Analog feed will not use Text tags. How is this configured on my system?

Keep your existing setup for the all digital.
Apply for the second feed.
Run a second copy of ScannerCast and configure it to use the USB sound card under "audio" and point it to your new feed channel under "feed to send"
set the new feed to (Audio Only - no tag support)
and you should be all set.

I'd run two USB sound cards, one for each feed, and leave the internal card free to run the computer stuff. The USB sound cards I use cost me $1 each on eBay. But to answer your question, there is nothing "special" that needs to be done.
