Reported Audio Problem- But no Issue

But no issues on BlackBerry BBScanner

Got a report from a user:

2010-03-23 07:41:51: The scanning function does not seem to be working. It stays on for a second then goes to buffering then goes back off again and again. It will not stay streaming for any length of time.

But I check on my phone using BBScanner and it pulls the feed up with Audio and does not stop and keep buffering as reported..


Any Suggestions


Feed in Alleghney County-PA-Pittsburgh-Ross Township.

I am Assuming the user is running the feed via the site, not known if using external player.

I listened to your stream for 15 minutes without any problem.

You'll just have to chalk it up to the listeners poor connection.
Hopefully he'll try other scanner links and realize he may have an issue with his connection.

Your feed basically sounds OK.

Your feed log shown the feed going on & off line a bit so maybe what the listener is reporting:
2010-03-24 07:08:32 online Feed /pa_ross came online.
2010-03-24 07:07:14 offline Feed /pa_ross going offline
2010-03-23 11:24:24 online Feed /pa_ross came online.
2010-03-23 11:18:37 offline Feed /pa_ross going offline

A mobile device is not the best way to check the feed quality or stability.
