Default Lag Time

Hello. Is there anyway to fix the Lag Time with ScannerCast so it doesnt lag like 10-20 behind the live feed time???

Assuming you're talking about the 10-20 second delay from your scanner and when the sound comes over the feed, your basic answer is no. This is about the time it takes for the encoding process + the time for your computer to send it to the servers + the time for the servers to receive and process the data + the time for the servers to send it to your computer + the time for your computer to process the incoming data and convert it to sound.

Don't feel too badly about it, it's just what it takes to do the job. The US radio's "HD Radio" service, with their dedicated equipment everywhere and dedicated high-speed lines or microwave links causes a 6 - 8 second delay and they're not fighting whatever else is running on the hardware or data links (such as the quite variable amount of internet traffic).
