I am noticing that the line in appears next to the mic..for audio... but the source will only select master volume.. will not let me switch to line in in that box

Are you sure your config settings, such as your mountpoint, server type, server ip, and password, are correct in Oddcast?

If your feed has been down for 2 weeks they may have deleted it.

Your feed has not been deleted.

It shows as active but offline.

If you want to continue to use OddCast, please see here for the set up instructions: Oddcast/Edcast Setup by Oddsock.org

This is a download of a new OddCast that you can choose to use of not but it is the included instructions you want to follow.

You select the actual mic or line input on the computer sound card.

Then on the OddCast main page is where you select the sound card of the computer. Right there to the right of the microphone image under the the section called Live Recording.

Thanks Rich, again I got it working it was a setting under sounds-speakers to go in and actually mute the tab for line0in.. the other prob is the box next to where you select line in--the other one use to give you a choice line-in,mic, or other. for some reason mine shows master voluime only..but its working
