Default RadioFeed alpha tags -- Temporary disable without stopping feed?

Today I'm experimenting with uploading alpha tags and I've found Scannercast RR to inconsistent. The first problem I've encountered is an alternating message from "not communicating with scanner" to working (whatever it says). I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that's why my alpha tags are delayed or not displayed at all. So, I've decided to try RadioFeed and it seems to work great so far! However, unlike Scannercast RR, I don't see a way to temporarily disable alpha tags without disconnecting the feed completely. Sometimes I want to access my computer/scanner with VPN so I can control the scanner, so I'd hate to disconnect my listeners when I want to control it.

Does anyone know of a workaround?

Go to the metadata tab and change any of the following; set the scanner type to none, set the port to none, or set the source to none.

Well, that did it. I was on the right track with disabling port 3 but didn`t think it would work on the fly like that.

Very nice!
Thanks for your help!
