From the first post in this thread:
Will feed providers receive a free premium subscription on RadioReference?
No. RadioReference and Broadcastify will function as two entirely separate entities after the transition, therefore we are discontinuing free premium subscriptions on RadioReference.com for live audio feed provider.
However, we will grant all active feed providers a free 90 day premium subscription on RadioReference.com when the transition occurs on Oct 15th.

So there won't be any more choices of web player, winamp, realplayer, java player, etc.?
It will be Broadcastify only? (which is ok by me).

How can there be no changes necessary by the provider/end users when for example I have an applet on my FD's website with direct links to radioreference.com for the feed? Surely those must eventually have to be edited (by me) to point to broadcastify.com.

Jay, of course you will eventually have to edit your links to point to Broadcastify, but as we have already pointed out, we will have redirects and a smooth transition in place that requires no action by anyone for at least the next few months.
Smooth transition means you will see a lot of communication and have opportunity over the next few months to change your links.
That's how there can be no changes necessary (for now)

We've given up on the project, too much complaining...
Just kidding
I'll be posting an formal news update later today on the status of the launch and how things are going to progress over the next few weeks or so.

I apologize if this was posted. I have a feed when the change over happens does my feed drop until I sign up for Broadcastify? Or will my feed remain up. Next question is what happens to my account including what I paid for i forget how long. Does that go away because of the change over? Again I apologize if this was mentioned
Also what happens to listeners? I was told that would change if it did how will it reflect on my end? Less listeners?

With the new website and more revenue coming in, will y'all consider at least a 10 minute delay option for feeds with police activity? That would satisfy a lot of people and more official agencies would probably want to host a feed if that was an option.

Also with the new dedicated feed website, Lindsay do you plan on building any new scanner appliances? I know the NYC one didn't work out but the DC one did well. Maybe some smaller appliances will be less of a hassle maintenance wise. Would love to see one in Chicago.

Patiently waiting the launch of Broadcastify.com. Any idea as to when it will be available, a launch time in mind? Too excited for this change over!

Folks,
The latest on the release of Broadcastify to the public is here:
Broadcastify Launch Updates - 10/15/2012
To sum it up, we are a few days delayed, but expect a soft launch either tomorrow evening or most likely Wed during the day.
Thanks!

Yes I have read that last year but with the feeds going to a dedicated website and more money coming in, I thought maybe Lindsay could reconsider. A lot of feedback is negative in regards to police feeds and the easy access to listen on mobile apps. A simple 10 minute delay option would solve that problem.

Yes, all of the feeds that have been (and still are) hosted by RadioReference.com are available on Broadcastify, including Canadian ones.
