I was wondering if there was a simple (and cheap???) way of amplifying the audio before it gets to the computer sound card, a iMic?
I'm using a wideband Motorola Spectra. I modified the ACCY connector for a RX Audio Line Out. All programmed frequencies are using narrowband so the audio is real low going into the iMic. I can amplify the audio with the iMic controls but it makes quite the hissing type noise when no audio is present on the feed.
