Default Chrome OS Computer

I have been looking for information on if there is scanning software available for a Chrome OS computer. I like the idea of a low cost machine to stream audio, but I cannot find any information on scanning software. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As it's an over glorified android you should look for android apps.

My stepson bought one and took it back because it wouldn't run what he wanted.

If you are looking for a 'low cost' machine to provide a stream, I would suggest a Raspberry Pi and a cheapo USB audio card. The Pi will run you ~ $35-40. I think my cheapo USB cards off eBay from China were like $1 each including shipping. Minimal maint running the Pi. Also low power usage.

More info at https://sites.google.com/site/glyman...o-broadcastify . There are a few other guides if you Google.
