Cool Feed showing offline,Randolph County NC

I'm new to this, the feed for the new viper system in our area is offline and been off for about two weeks.
Is there anyway to find out if it will come back on or was permernantly deleted. The feed sounded like it was
having problems most of the time. Other counties I listened to had no problems.

I was in the process of buying a couple of RS pro106, now being told they have quit making them but you can
still get them from Radio Shack. Can you still upgrade the scanner as new upgrades come in...

Why is this feed offline? Where did a feed go? How to get my area added?

The manufacturing of Pro-106 has temporarily ceased production (GRE America Inc. Press Release). This does not mean that RadioShack is completely out of stock of Pro-106s, there are probably at least a couple in most RadioShack stores and that does not include the stock in the warehouses.

With upgrades, you can do Pro-106 and Pro-197 CPU/DSP Upgrades if you have the appropriate cables and the scanner hasn't already had them installed in the factory. That is about all you can upgrade, if your area you live in were to switch to say P25 Phase II, there would be no upgrades available for the scanner (unless you were to have purchased a PSR-800).

You'll probably want to ask around New User / Getting Started Forum or Radio Shack section if you have a specific question about the Pro-106. If you have specific questions about your local area, you probably want to ask around North Carolina Radio Discussion Forum
