Default Attention! ARK, LA, TX, MS!

Good Morning!

I really don't like to Cry WOLF!, but, we all need to be very vigilant until tomorrow morning. Reason being the combination Cold/Warm/Dry Line that is tracking Southeast with the possibility of tornado's, large hail, high winds and rain. Reports indicate that hail the size of quarters (1") has been reported.

Here in Northwest Louisiana, we have experienced deadly tornado's over a span of 20 years in or about Good Friday thru Easter.

For those of you who are within the ranges of the 146.67/145.43/147.15/147.300 repeaters, it would be advisable to keep them going to listen to Skywarn announcements.

Too bad we don't have a Skywarn "chatroom" to "talk" in and to report bad weather. But, to be sure our information is right, those participating would have to be trained Skywarn spotters. :-(

Keep your powder "dry" and watchen yor'n "top knot". LOL! That's a mountain man saying in the movie, Jeremiah Johnson, with Robert Redford and Will Geer (Grandpa on "The Walton's").

Respectfully,
73,

Don/KA5LQJ

Wink LQ^QKs like we "dodged a bullet".....

Well,

Looks like we had a false alarm up here in Northwest LA. We got some rain, but not much else. I'm looking at the radar and don't see anything coming.

I am praying that as this front moves towards the East Coast of the U.S. that all it is, is just a 'rain event' with no destruction or loss of life.

Meanwhile, Madame says I need to get back to whittling down my "junk" so we don't have as much to move to the Lake house. We've only lived here for nearly 39 years , so it shouldn't take THAT long .

But, the new place will give me the excuse to collect MORE toys.

Respectfully,
73,

Don/KA5LQJ
