Talking Lsp i help

I am looking into programming Louisiana State Police into my pro97 (with win97).
They use Motorola Type II SmartZone.
State Police Troop I - Lafayette Talkgroups

I don't understand how to use (hex). Is there a code for this?

all those talkgroups you just posted for troop i on the 800mhz is now used as back up they are now on the 700mhz digital lwin system which the pro 97 wont be able to work on the 700 system

Oh, I see. Your opinion, what would be a good scanner that would catch the new channels?
Radio Shack good scanners?
One under $300.00 dollars if possible?

There are several out there, just make sure it can handle 700mhz/800mhz, P25 Digital Trunking. Be prepared to spend 400-500 dollars new.

0=0
1=1
2=2
3=3
4=4
5=5
6=6
7=7
8=8
9=9
10=A
11=B
12=C
13=D
14=E
15=F

+1 you've got to spend the $$ to get P25 digital (where it's all going)

PSR-500 and the BCD396XT are the 2 you wanna look for. The BCD396T can handle 700 mhz and you might can find a good deal on a used one or a closeout model.

They are going to be around $450 to $500 new. Cheapest I have seen is Communications Electronics Inc. - BCD396T - Call 1-800-USA-SCAN to order
