Default Lafourche s.o.

i wish lafourche s.o. will make the switch to lwin...the static on the state 800mhz is ridicoulous...i heard a few of the lts. and capt. talking on 700 to terrebonne s.o....so i know they have the radios available

the LPSO network tech told me the other day that they are going to be switching soon.
also Thibodaux PD will be getting the 700 mhz but will not use them as the primary only as fall back radios. they like thier 155.415 system.

That's like Livingston, my son-in-law works for them and he told me that they are quite happy with radio system also. If it's any consolation, I wish Baton Rouge PD would switch over also, The reception on the 800 is so staticy it's awful. on some channels. I have been told that City-Parish does have the radios but they need to program tham and do a couple of towers. And of course that costs MONEY! LOL
