I think the new tower belogs to AT&T. I do not think it is likely site 32 was moved there, but anything is possible.

Make sure you have binoculars - you will certainly be able to tell.

When I saw the antennas for site 32, I had one heck of a time back up in there - I got so lost somewhere between S H Rd and 10, on either Cara, Cutrer, or Jones Connell, or who knows where. It was kinda interesting, actually. Until a DWF agent decided to see what I was up to

Let us know what you find.

Not hard to get turned around up there.

I wish I knew what the Ant.looked like before I make the drive. All the ones I've seen for 700 are two stick like ant. down the tower alittle hanging off the side. I live by the Baywood site I'll try to take a picture of it today to dhow you what I'm talking about.

Don't forget that the state is slowly migrating to the 700 channels. You might be one of the lucky
regions that have made the move.

Is there something going on for Memorial Day weekend, or is it just me?

Jim Troop A up here has been on 700 quite awhile now. So is my Sheriff dept. East Baton Rouge. EBRSO has been on 700 and 800 it's kind of crazy.

I found a site that has some towers on it.

I think this is the Sage Hill tower.
http://map.sbasite.com/SiteInfo.aspx?SiteCode=LA10315-A

And the Parker Rd. tower.

And this is the Baywood tower. It's a shame they don't know where Baywood is The tower is in Pride, if it wasn't for a few trees you could see it from the Pride Post Office.

This is the Baywood tower that is really in Pride. The two stick like antennas on the left side of the tower below the cell antennas at the top are the 700 antennas

I took the ride to La. 10 today and this is the new tower. Looks like a nice new cell antenna and not a 700mhz.

Yeah, I meant to mention yesterday that the new tower belongs to AT&T. Not likey there would ever be a public safety antenna right next to a cell array.

That's why I knew the new tower could not have 700 on it... not likely at all, at least.

Great pics, by the way!

Kevin I was down your way last week I listened to Troop B on the Laplace tower. Was going to eat at R&O's by the lake. Too long of a line.

Not to completely hijack this thread, but R&O may be good, but I just stuffed myself at Johnny's poboys on St Louis. I can barely type....

ok, here's the array - it is a cell, verified with a ATT/Cingular phone I have in for forensic analysis - 5 big bars (one bar before).

I don't understand why I did not get any P25 700 stuff when the array was down but it all instantly came back when the array was replaced??

Hey Charlie12,

Thanks for that site link. I'm gonna take a ride today and look at those towers in Ascension. Do you know what the different colors represent on the map? I couldn't find a legend and was wondering.

I think the only one you'll find in Ascension will be in the La 30 & La 73 area. It's not on the map. If you find it look for those two stick like antennas like I posted above.

I'm fixing to head out soon. That is near my house and I'll be sure to take my SLR with mega zoom lens.

Oh yeah, not to purposely change the subject; but.....

If anyone with the RS Pro-106, do you have your entire LWIN in the "Virtual Folder"? I can hear everything, but it it saying that my memory is full? WTF?
