The LWIN tower is located on Hwy 30, just north of Hwy 73.

And here is a twist. On the way home, I spotted a possible LWIN tower near my house.

It's off of Hwy 621 (in between there and I-10) in a subdivision.

A close up

Here is the location on the map.

Well, it is not currently a part of the system. The Geismar site provides good coverage, and that one is pretty close.

Looks like it. I'm pretty sure that's the 700 and 800 on there.

I agree Geismar works pretty good. The antenna's are not right either.

A EBRSO deputy that works in south EBR said he heard they might put something just across the line in Ascension to help out the southeast EBR

Concerning the Geismer Site I wished they would change the CC for some odd reason. I live 7 miles west of Morgan City on Hwy 90. I use to be able to pick that site up well from here when it first went online. Not long after for some odd reason something in my area started interfering with the current Geismer CC. Now I am not able to receive it. I can go right there to Berwick and Morgan City and lose the interference and hear Geismer. The CC has a lot of static in it, you can fately hear what appears to be a very weak 800 CC data signal (motor sound) in the backgroud. It completly overrides the LWIN signal from that site. Any ideas how to set a scanner to avoid this.
