Who Dat?

First found yesterday with PS stalker operating in SE West Felicia Parish. Activity sounds like EBR street names but I can't identify the agency, probably not LSP from ID's broadcast but I have heard some LSP Troop A activity in addition to the mystery agency.

This is very strong & clear, even from handhelds during foot pursuit in EBR & probably receiving from the new antenna mentioned in other post at N30-50-19.4 W091-18-58.7. Almost has to be new LWIN sumulcast/repeater.

You are just picking up the individual trunked frequencies at the site. Are you sure you have your radio programmed correctly? There are no non-trunked 700 MHz licenses in your area...

No, I'm too new at scanning to be sure I have it programmed correctly.

picked up those two using Public Safety stalker in Pro 106. Pressed 'store' when they hit.

Have EBRSO & PD TSYS but they're Moto II.

Can't find 700mhz for those agencies on RR, can't find that antenna either. Downloading & programming with PSREDit500.

Have LSP/LWIN/P25 TSYS also, all 700Mhz.

Ok, that is exactly what is happening. The stalker/sweeper is searching the entire band, not trunking the band. You are hearing the individual LWIN repeater outputs, which the PSR/PRO radios automatically recognize in Search as P25, and decodes the transmission. At the same time, it displays some system info, which is why you are assuming it is something to do with LWIN.

There are no licensed conventional 700 MHz frequencies in your area. The only searching you should be doing is for control channels only. Once you have those, that is all you will need to hear public safety agencies in your area. For now, all that are constructed there have been id'd, so that is really all you need to program into your radio (again, for now, until/if new towers are added).

EBRSO is on 700 and 800. I live in north EBR and listen to them. I mostly listen to EBRSO north dispatch and north talk. The crazy thing is noth dispatch is on 700 and north talk on 800. They have had a bunch of problems with the new system.

They are on RR under the LWIN system

I had EBRSO & PD Moto II 800Mhz but had not stumbled onto the above LWIN for the SO. It's programmed now...

I still can not find EBRPD on LWIN & presume they're stuck on the old MOTO II ?

Yep the EBRSO is kind of crazy down here it's kind of on 700 digital 800 digital 800 analog it's nuts.

I don't know about BRPD I don't listen to them. I listen to Livingston Parish alot because I work over there, but you can hear them on a garage sale scanner.
