Assumption sheriff

looks like assumption sheriff has migrated to lwin on talkgroup 31500..listening to them on both the berwick and gray tower...

For the past couple of weeks I have been getting this strange noise on their convetional ch 158.790. Have you been hearing this. It seems as someone is keying up and transmiting in some type of digital or encryption. Have you noticed this as well. I still would hear them talk at times on this ch. but more often i would get this transmitting noise. By the way do you know about when the new Assumption tower will be up and running and do you know of any new ones that will be going up in the St. Mary, Iberia, Lafourche, Terrebonne, Lower St. Martin areas.

i hear the same noise on 158.790 sound like a lot of encryption to me too....i thought i heard labadieville for the new tower

Could it be some sort of paging tones?
