OK, based on your input, I searched & got a hit of 3 units communicating at 220.930 locally (WFP).

I've searched FCC & can't find that freq assigned to Demco although as you suggested they are all over 220 - 221. Their licenses are for "QT - Non-Nationwide 5 Channel Trunked, 220 MHz". I did get several hits on what sounded like CC (motorboat).

Did I get a hit on only one voice channel of the trunked system?

Do I need to program my scanner for all frequencies in the BR area to get all Demco locally?

Do I program them as trunked systems or conventional?

Thanks for your input & help - trying to decide when to hook up the generator...

As this is a TRS on 220 MHz, I am not sure what scanners are out that can track this...

I think it's LTR & have programmed into my Pro 106 as such - let's see what happens...

orrr - am I wasting my time?

I was receiving regular comms between several local units with the srch freq as conv.

OK - that didn't work LTR does not use 220 (I'm learning slowly)

I've just put the 2 freq that search has picked up in conv slots to monitor.

Funny thing is they're using CTCSS 103.5 & 241.8

I don't understand this stuff...
