Default Terrebonne Sheriff and Houma PD encrypted?

So, couple days ago I was listening to my HP as usual, and all of a sudden both TPSO and Houma PD went silent. While Lafourche sheriff, Troop C still work fine, all my HP-1 catches is a tag with no transmission and scanner then moves on . locking onto the channel - dead silence, unless a car passes by, and you hear car-to-car talks...

Any info on this?

both houma p.d. and terrebonne s.o.... are encrypted at times.....i heard them in the clear around 3 pm today while in houma......i read on a post somewhere...where they can encrypt their communications with a flip of a switch for what they don't wan't the media to beat them to the scene......
