Question LTR Question

I have recently mapped an LTR system here where I live, but it comes in weaker in trunking mode than it does when I monitor the individual frequency in conventional mode. My question is that could it be that there is another frequency floating around out there in the system that I have not found? If I have 3 frequencies with the correct LCN but there are other frequencies I haven't discovered and are not programmed in, will I still be able to receive anything, or would I have to have all of the frequencies with correct LCNs in order to receive it at all? There are only 2 frequencies in the system that I have been able to receive any traffic on in conventional mode, the 3rd frequency I just guessed on because the LCNs are 05, which I know is correct, 09, which is the 3rd frequency and 13 which I also know is correct. Is this making any sense to anyone?
Anyways this is the RR page for it:
Scanner Frequencies: Two-Way Communications (VHF) Trunking System, Bay Minette, Alabama

It is listed as site 101 with the Confirmed LCNs

Thanks for anyone's help.

Default First question leads to the Second question

What scanner are you using? When i programmed my 296 for a vhf Moto system it did not allow setting the mode (wide/narrow FM) in trunk programming mode. I had to go to each channel after in conventional programming mode and change them all to Narrow. What mode are your channels for your LTR vs you Conventional? If they are wrong the volume could be "weaker". Is that what you mean, the volume is weaker in the trunk system?

Its a BC246T, and I have no idea what its set on.... whatever the default is I guess. Its not just the volume that is weaker, its the reception in general.

The problem with a 246 is that when you do a trunk system you cannot set the mode, ie FM/NFM. If it does not match the transmission of the system you will not recieve it as good as when you are in conventional mode where you CAN set the mode. With my 246 on a MOTO II system here it just seems like low volume since the tower is quite close to me. I guess in reality the signal is acutally being attenuated a bit. Sounds like that is what is happening to you.
