The answer is No, with my unidens the scanner relies on proper lcn numbers to scan thru 1 -20. (depending on size of system) so ie: bank 8 in my 250D would have first lcn as 803 next chan is 805 for lcn 5 etc,
however that said my 396d , because of its memory structure I put in 3 of same co's sytem in one bank/group and it does it just fine.
RS is different as well , from what I have read here. but if it is standard memory structure ie: 1-1000, probably would be limited to one system any size freq up to 20 in one bank.

With respect BC i have to disagree to a point. I have LTR systems that use different LCN numbers that can go in the same bank. For instance, system A my use LCN 1, 3, 5 and system B may use 2, 4, 6. Because of the dissimiliar numbering the scanner should be able to track these systems without any problem at all. I use it on my RS PRO-97 on a regular basis

I do the same thing. It works perfectly fine with all functionality.

Ok, now the next question. Is it possible to program conventional channles in the same bank as an LTR system? If so, how is it done?

Not all trunking scanners allow this, but if they do, the conventional freq would go in channels X21-XXX(I.E. 21-100, 221-300). With my 796, you just set trunking to "off" for the conventional channels.

I have 2 LTR systems in one bank in my BC780XLT, the first one uses the first 7 memory slots
and the second one uses 11 thru 19. Thats the only way you can do it with that scanner, if
they were both using the higher LCN's and one or two were on the same one, then it would not do it.
I also have conventional freqs in the same bank, just don't make the memory channel it sits
in LTR and isn't being used by the LTR system.
