Default LTR TGID's

I hear a couple of ID's on the channel I monitor but not the one's I programed. It is in the open mode. Would that be because the system administrtor has them turned off or something else?

Not much point to have paid user ID's turned off. It is much more likely that the ones you want to hear just aren't talking. Since the TGID's you want to hear have the same home channel as the one you are monitoring (according to the info you got off the web), you would not need to have the other system LCN's programmed, but it is likely you would not hear entire conversations some of the time. It is best if you program the other LCN/freq's so you can hear all the conversations. Another issue is that most Uniden and a couple of RS scanners require that you put LCN 01 in the 1st channel of the bank that it is in. Check the Wiki in case you need more help with LTR.

Did you check THIS site to see if the system is listed in your state & county, and if the LCN, TGID's and frequencies match what you found on the web?

Default LTR TGID's

Thanks for the reply Capt. The info I found on thr RR site appears to be old. The police are not using the company listed. I did find the service provider they use now but could not get any other information. I found LCN's and TGID's for them on the Alabama focus group of RR. They are the ones I used and picked up one ID but not the police.
Thanks,
Philip

I'm surprised that no one from your area has submitted system updates to the RR database. Suggest you go back to that forum and see if they can explain why you aren't getting PD, and just how active they are. Be sure to tell them your scanner model, and which frequencies you already have programmed. I would also hope you can convince the "expert(s)" on this system to submit to the database.
