LTR (Logic Trunked Radio) is a trunking format, EF Johnson is a company

LTR was developed by EFJ decades ago. Equipment is available from numerous manufacturers but EFJ holds the patents. EFJ also sold Multinet Trunking and has a new trunking product as well.

OK, now to clear up the confusion.

EF Johnson P25 is P25, not LTR.

See what happens when you don't ask the whole question.

I have not seen any info regarding the EFJ P25 trunked systems but no scanner manufacturer advertises the ability to trunktrack them. If they follow the P25 standard, I would think any unencrypted traffic would be monitorable but only in a conventional mode (not trunktracking)
