Exclamation Any experts on LTR's out there?

As I'm researching a local SMR TRS LTR,I find from the FCC files that only ONE frequency is licensed to the LTR owner at this particular site! Now, my question is, Can you have a 1 channel LTR TRS? or are the other LTR channels being broadcast from another site? and if so, wouldn't that cause reception problems for the LTR TRS user(s), if they were in range of the one site, but not the other? or.....are the other frequencies unlicensed? What gives here? What am I missing???

It is quite common for a licensee to have several sites, or frequencies under one of more licenses that comprise one system. You should do an FRN search based on the one channel. This is explained here: http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...TR_frequencies

Yes, you can program a 1 channel LTR. It will act more like a Community Repeater with different groups instead of using different PL's.
