Default Boothbay Region

Looks like there has been some changes to what is published in the Database section for the region. I know that Boothbay Harbor PD is using 153.9425 DLP 25 for PD operation and the county (Lincoln) now dispatches on 155.0025. Looks like there are quite a few new narrow-band frequencies licensed too.

Anyone monitor the local mid-coast region and can provide some updates?

Terry

does everyone get dispatched by the county now? Is there are unit numbering assignment employed?

There are a number of other narrow-band assignments like 155.7975 and 155.5275. Are they using 155.415 and 151.400 for fire now too?

Tnx.... Terry

Not sure on those...will add those freqs you just sent, and point the beam over that way and see what I hear...might be down that way over the 4th, so can find out more then......

My cousins operate the Argo charter that do the clambakes on Cabbage Island, lol...they ran aground last week..a little embarrasing when you have over 130 passengers on-board

You mean this one?

Coast Guard investigates grounding off Maine coast:
http://wbztv.com:80/mainewire/22.0.h...oatAground.xml

I was trying to keep account of all the Boothbay region stuff on a web page... and I need to add what you sent too. Some of my links are out-dated since the FCC changed their search and other tools.

While I was up in the BBH region, I was doing some searching and found that the Coast Guard is using P25 on CG-10, 162.250. What I forgot to log is whether it was a repeater or not. I was hearing stations pretty good, but I was up on a hill, so signals were very good anyways.

While I was there I found the following P25 freqs in use:

169.987500 NAC 4F9
162.250000 NAC 293
159.150000 NAC 293 (probably NH?)
158.790000 NAC 293
170.625000 NAC 367
173.762500 NAC 707 (Cape Cod Ntl Seashore probably)
171.725000 NAC 707 (Cape Cod Ntl Seashore probably)
154.792500 NAC 868

Also found the following:

151.02500 Boothbay Public Works (107.2?)
153.94250 BoothBay Harbor PD 1 DCS 025
158.82750 Boothbay Reg. Amb DCS 351
154.97250 BoothbayFD Mobiles 77.0
155.47500 Intersystem 192.8
153.97250 Knox Co FD 141.3
154.26500 Lincoln Cnty FD 127.3
154.41500 Lincoln Cnty FD 79.7
154.31000 Lincoln Cnty FD 6 State
155.98500 Lincoln Cnty FD Disp 118.8
155.00250 Lincoln Cnty Sheriff 110.9
155.74500 Lincoln Cnty C-C 192.8

(Thanks to Bob, a local resident and fellow ham, who turned me on to a whole list!)

With all the summer boating activity, it would be great to see what other CG activity is happening, here are some other freqs to try:

CG 01 139.975000
CG 02 140.475000
CG 03 140.725000
CG 04 141.612500
CG 05 150.725000
CG 06 141.550000
CG 07 150.300000
CG 08 162.050000
CG 09 162.125000

CG 12 163.050000
CG 13 163.137500
CG 14 164.300000
CG 15 164.312500
CG 16/Common 164.550000
CG 17 164.562500
CG 18 164.900000
CG 19 164.912500
CG 20 165.262500
CG 21 165.312500
CG 22 165.325000
CG 23 165.337500
CG 24 166.187500
CG 25 167.900000
CG 26 168.862500
CG 27 171.237500
CG 28 172.312500
CG Auxillary 150.700000
CG Auxillary 138.475000
CG Auxillary 142.825000
CG Auxillary 143.475000
CG Auxillary 149.200000

The Coast'ies renamed their channels from the old LANT numbering. I did not put the old LANT assignments on the tags... probably should have. Sorry.

What are others hearing up in the Mid Coast region?

159.150000 is Auburn, ME PD
158.790000 is Lewiston, ME PD
170.625000 I hear this quite a bit, still un-id

154.792500 being your location, probably Seabrook, NH PD...straight shot across the water...

Maybe the folks that are up taking in the Lobster Festival (http://www.mainelobsterfestival.com/) can check out radio scene with the CG and USN activity. Saw Bill's post to ScanME (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scanME/).

I agree with Bill. And not only is 170.625 in use all over New England, I've caught it in use in several other locations nationwide.

I go to BBay. I'm using Win97 to program my Pro-164. How would you enter the Boothbay regional ambulance frequncy tone in Win 97? You said DCS 351
