Default City of Portland "Potpourri"

Can any factually knowledgable person "in the know" from official sources answer the following regarding Portland operations??

1. It is well known that Portland switched most of it's 2-way radio operations to 800 MHz. some years back...Recent FCC mandates will force 800 MHz. public-safety users like Portland to shift their ops from the upper end of 800 MHz band to the lower end of 800 megs in the near future. Has Portland started using the new 810 - 823 meg trunked channels yet? If so, are the talkgroups the same as before? Which seem to be the usual "control channels"??

2. Aside from Portland Fire simulcasting dispatch on their old VHF req, are their any other Portland depts. that still use any of their old VHF/ UHF channels (PW, Parks, Housing Authority, Schools, Water District, Public Library, Jetport, etc..) ??

3. Some years ago, Portland was licensed on 158.895 MHz. exclusively for municipal dept paging ? Anybody know if they are still using this for anything?

4. Regarding Portland Water District...voice ops have been heard on repeater 451.525 MHz. Pump control data telemetry have been heard on 173 and 460 meg frequencies.
Does anybody know if they use their 48 meg channels for anything (voice or data) ??

5. Does anybody know if the Portland Police have a DEC / HEX talkgroup number for patching into the following VHF police channels: (like they do for Statewide C/C) ??

Region Net 2 155.535 MHz. (R)
Nationwide 155.475 MHz. T/R

6. Does anybody know if Portland Fire has a DEC / HEX talkgroup numbers for patching into the county / statewide fireground tac channels (like they do for State Fire) ??

MFCA Fireground Tac 1 154.265 MHz. (a/k/a Androscoggin Cnty Fire Net)
" 2 154.280 MHz. (a/k/a Cumberland Cnty Tanker Shuttle)
" 3 154.295 MHz. (a/k/a Sagadohoc Cnty Fire Net (Toning))
" 4 154.415 MHz. (numerous "local" FD's)

7. Has Portland Metro Buses switched to the 800 meg system ?? If so, DEc /HEX talkgroup number, please ?? (They are also licensed on 453.875 MHz. (R))

8. Portland Parks on 158.940 MHz. ... is this still being used or did they go 800 meg ??

9. Portland Jetport...new mobile only channel on 158.820 MHz. Does anybody know the PL tone squelch for this ??

10. Portland Publilc Library...used to operate on "multi-user UHF repeater" 464.125 or 464.1375 MHz. Anybody know if they still do ??

Thanks,

Jim Bois
