Unhappy USCG Boston Lant Comms Encrypted?

Are all U.S.C.G. Sector Boston Lant ops on CG-08 (162.050) P25 encrypted? New York recently went P25 but have remained in the clear for the time being. TIA.

99% ENC although there will be an occasional radio check in the clear P-25

Benjamin Franklin must have known when he was asked...we couldn't "keep it."

Actually Both are used and are interchangable.
Sector Boston still calls it CG-08

NO real change, except add a 1

CG-08 becomes NET-108

Some of us, have assumed [yup, we even hyphenate it too] that
CG-08 was WideBand and the NET/CG-108 might be Narrow Band

My only guess as to the change is that since the channel names were changed from "CG" to "Net", they did not want to confuse the Coast Guard Net channels with the CBP Net. After all, CBP and Coast Guard are both part of DHS.
