Hostage situation in Glen Burnie on 7/15

Apparently someone was shot in or near some apartments off Elvaton Road in Glen Burnie
this morning. My son drove by there on the way to work and saw a body on the grass
nearby. All of this happened around 0700 today (Wednesday). About 0800 one of my
neighbors called to say her son-in-law (a cop) called her and said that the shooter was
still on the loose and for her to lock her doors. Also, at about 0800, I went toward the
crime scene. Cops were blocking Elvaton Road a couple blocks from the affected area.
Also, there was "crime scene tape" blocking the road further down. At lunch today
a friend called and said there was a hostage situation in the area - I presume associated
with the aforementioned problem. Channel 13 reporters were in the area. Here it is
about 1245 and the problem continues.

Again, no scanner handy and I do not have a scanner capable to tracking AA county's
digital system.

Someone shot a person in the woods. Person still on the loose. 4 shots were heard in the area. No hostage situtation that I have heard of.
