Body found near Germantown bike path
Foul play not suspected

Friday, Sept. 25, 2009
by Meghan Tierney | Staff Writer

A man whose body was found near a Germantown bike path early Thursday morning likely died of natural causes, police said.

Timothy Necciai, 53, of no fixed address was found dead off to the side of a bike path in a wooded area near Middlebrook Road and Great Seneca Highway by someone traveling along the trail at 7:50 a.m., said Lucille Baur, a Montgomery County Police spokeswoman. He appears to have died suddenly from natural causes and foul play is not suspected, she said.

An autopsy will be conducted, Baur said.
