Radio Shack Pro 2096

Can anyone tell me if the Pro-2096, with the APCO 25 decoder in it, can be used to pick up the Frederick City Police Dept on 494.4125. They said it was digital incripted, but this websites database said the city police are just APCO-25.

Can anyone advise?

Well, if it is encrypted, then no. If it is just APCO-25 then, you are in luck. YES!

This site's database does show Frederick City Police to be encrypted P-25 so neither the 2096, nor anything else, will work for that agency.
