Is MSP on a 800 system perhaps? I loaded every conventional frequency from the RR database and heard absolutely nothing while passing through Maryland this past week. Any info or help would be great, thanks.

Some of hte barracks are cross-patched into their respective county's 800 TRS and have 800 radios. However all the activity is on low-band. Since they are operating via simplex, you would need a pretty good antenna or be right next to a trooper in order to hear the comms. Depending on what part of the state you're in, there usually aren't much comms anyways.

Yeah went well, but focused more on NYC and JFK airport. Can't pass up an oppurtunity like that.
